Pricing / estimating process

To help our customers decide whether the pricing and terms of our products and
services are within their range of satisfaction, we request certain minimum
information before quoting even a "rough price". Due to the high volume of requests
for pricing information, and the fact that many requests for pricing are in the very early
stages of planning, we also require at least a rough drawing or sketch of the
foundation plan, with all critical outside measurements of basement, crawl, garage,
porches, etc., and as many other details that may affect the price as possible (see
list below), to provide a reasonably accurate foundation quote.

You may: 1) e-mail a drawing in a "pdf" file format, or a CAD drawing file such as
"dwg", "dxf", or "dwf" to oscard@sfoundations.com, 2) fax the drawing to Solid
Foundations Inc. at (419) 483-8814, or 3) you can drop off the prints at our office.

**All damproofing and waterproofing is hot-spray applied:

Tar: No water leakage warranty. Polypro asphalt emulsion with polymer
modification. 10 mils thickness when dried.
Watchdog: 10 year warranty, 12" grade. Polymer-enhanced asphalt liquid
applied membrane. 60 mils thickness wet - 40 mils dry. Has stretch of 500%.
Tuff-n-Dri Systems: all with 30 year warranty, 12" grade. Polymer-enhanced
asphalt liquid applied membrane. 60 mils thickness wet - 40 mils dry. Has
stretch of 800%. R-value (below) includes pink, unfaced, rigid fiber glass
insulation board:

- Tuff-n-Dri R3: Standard = 3/4" insulation board.
- Tuff-n-Dri R10: Thickest = 2-3/8" insulation board. Meets Ottawa
county inspection code.
